WARDROBE COORDINATOR – DETROIT OFFICE

Productions Plus is seeking a Wardrobe Coordinator to join our Wardrobe Division and support the execution of elevated, brand-forward wardrobe programs for automotive and experiential clients.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is organized, creative, and interested in fashion, events, brand marketing, or production. The Wardrobe Coordinator will work closely with the Wardrobe team and gain hands-on experience across the full wardrobe lifecycle, from inventory and logistics to creative development and client-facing activations.

What You’ll Do
In this role, you will support daily wardrobe operations, including shipping, receiving, packing, labeling, organizing, and preparing wardrobe kits for distribution. You will assist with in-office and onsite wardrobe distributions, help maintain organized wardrobe storage areas, and ensure all wardrobe items are clean, accurate, and client-ready.
You will also assist with inventory tracking, restocking, returns, and quality checks using internal systems and spreadsheets. This position provides exposure to the behind-the-scenes process that supports large-scale events, auto shows, and brand activations.
In addition to operational support, you will have the opportunity to support the Wardrobe team during creative concepting, client deck development, trend research, and wardrobe presentation preparation. You may also observe internal strategy discussions and client communications to better understand how wardrobe supports brand identity and live event execution.

What You’ll Gain
This role offers real-world experience in wardrobe coordination, logistics, inventory management, vendor coordination, and production timelines. You will gain insight into how wardrobe programs are developed and executed for major automotive and experiential clients, while learning how fashion, function, and brand strategy come together in a live event environment.

Who You Are
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and eager to learn. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, communicating clearly, and taking initiative. A passion for fashion, styling, experiential marketing, events, or brand activations is a plus.

About the Opportunity
The Wardrobe Coordinator will gain behind-the-scenes access to wardrobe execution for major automotive brands, with potential exposure to auto shows, live events, and cross-functional collaboration across creative, operations, and client teams.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Apparel Design, Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred.
1–2 years of experience in wardrobe, fashion, retail, events, logistics, inventory coordination, or administrative support preferred.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail.
Interest in fashion, styling, brand activations, experiential marketing, or live events.
Comfortable handling wardrobe inventory, packing, labeling, shipping, receiving, and tracking items accurately.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel; experience with inventory systems, spreadsheets, or tracking tools is a plus.
Professional, proactive, and dependable, with a willingness to learn and support both creative and operational needs.
