talent coordinator – DETROIT OFFICE (HYBRID)

Seeking a driven and resourceful People Operations Coordinator to support live event staffing for a variety of clients. Responsibilities include recruitment across several programs, with primary focus on recruitment and behind the scenes administration.  We seek an organized Recruiter who can handle a high volume of talent requests from multiple accounts.  An ideal candidate will think creatively on how to source and engage new talent pools in new markets nationwide.


The candidate must possess the ability and experience to be immediately effective in their role. Ideal candidates will quick learners and will have proven prior experience in recruitment and social media networking. Ideal candidates can demonstrate an ability for diplomacy and efficacy under pressure and successful compliance with tight/multiple deadlines. A proactive, can-do, teamwork-driven attitude is a must.

Essential Job Functions:
Responsible for recruiting external staff for various live event programs
Responsible for job postings, interviewing and resourcing new areas for postings
Responsible for assisting with onboarding administration
General administrative support tasks relating to the event execution
Contributes to conversations, drawing upon research or other relevant experience to bring new recruitment ideas to the table
Exhibits recruitment skills, including social media research and understanding
Adheres to timelines and deadlines
Creating and maintaining a list of platforms utilized for recruitment


Skills and Key Attributes:
Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed. Position will entail working a few weekend days per month to allow for auditions/recruitment calls outside of normal business hours
Self-motivated, detail oriented and tech savvy
Ability to juggle several projects at one time and moving parts
Excellent communication skills
Sense of urgency while maintaining a calm and direct disposition
Ability to work with tight deadlines and eagerness to take on additional responsibility
Confidence, flexibility, structure, and organizations skills
Capacity for teamwork, especially in hybrid in-office/at-home work environment


Preferred Requirements:
Relevant recruitment and live events experience preferred
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
Excellent MS Office (Word/Excel/PPT) proficiency critical
Some travel may be required

Work Authorization/Security Clearance

Final candidate selection will be contingent on the successful completion of a pre-employment background check and subsequent background investigation. Selectee will be required to serve a 90-probationary period and participate in Direct Deposit for payment. Candidates must be U.S. employment eligible.
