Human resources Administrator– MICHIGAN OFFICE

Productions Plus is seeking a Human Resources Administrator for a hybrid remote/in-office role in our Bingham Farms, MI office.

Summary:

As an HR Administrator at Productions Plus, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Human Resources department with various administrative tasks and initiatives. You will be responsible for ensuring efficient HR operations, maintaining accurate employee records, and providing general HR support to employees across the organization. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and strong communication abilities will contribute to the smooth functioning of HR processes and the overall employee experience.

Essential Job Functions:

HR Operations Support:

  • Assist with the administration of various HR processes, such as onboarding, offboarding, and employee status changes.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and update HR systems and databases.
  • Prepare HR-related documents, including employment contracts, letters, and forms.
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and legal requirements.

Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Support the recruitment process by conducting background checks, I9 verification, and MVRs.
  • Assist with new employee onboarding, including paperwork, orientation, and employee benefits enrollment.
  • Coordinate logistics for assessments, ensuring a positive candidate experience.

Employee Data Management:

  • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Process employee data changes, such as promotions, transfers, and terminations.
  • Generate reports and HR metrics as needed, providing insights for decision-making.

HR Communications and Employee Support:

  • Assist with the development and dissemination of HR-related communications to employees.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
  • Collaborate with HR team members to address employee concerns and provide timely support.

HR Programs and Initiatives:

  • Support the implementation of HR programs, such as performance management and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Assist with employee training and development initiatives, including scheduling and logistics coordination.
  • Participate in HR projects and contribute to process improvement efforts.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or pursuing/equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience in an HR administrative role or similar capacity.
  • Familiarity with HR processes, policies, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in using HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) Paycom and other HR software.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance

Final candidate selection will be contingent on the successful completion of a pre-employment background check and subsequent background investigation. Selectee will be required to serve a 90-probationary period and participate in Direct Deposit for payment. Candidates must be U.S. employment eligible.
