SOCIAL MEDIA INTERN – Bingham Farms, MI  

Productions Plus is seeking a Social Media Intern for a role in our Bingham Farms, MI office location.   

Summary:  

The Social Media Intern will assist with managing and creating content for Productions Plus social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn, using tools like Canva, Microsoft Office, Later, and Meta Business Suite. Ideal candidates will have a background in social media or digital marketing and core competencies in organizational and creative skills. We are looking for someone who is process-oriented, team-centric, and highly motivated, with a passion for social media’s role in fostering community engagement and brand visibility.  

The candidate must possess the ability and experience to be immediately effective in their role. Ideal candidates can demonstrate an ability for creativity and efficiency under pressure and successful compliance with tight/multiple deadlines. A proactive, can-do, teamwork-driven attitude is essential; a passion for social media and digital marketing is preferred.  

Essential Job Functions:  

• Create 2-3 posts per week for each managed account using Canva, ensuring content is engaging and aligns with our philanthropic mission.  
• Monitor and engage with our community on social media platforms to foster a positive and interactive online environment.  
• Assist in the creation of quarterly PowerPoint presentations for accounts, providing insights from the previous quarter and outlining future content schedules.  
• Provide front desk support for incoming office guests

Preferred Requirements:  

• Experience with social media management or digital marketing (educational or professional).  
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word/Excel/PPT) and social media management tools (Canva, Beautiful AI, Later, Meta Business Suite).  
• Ability to create analytic reports of prior social media content to help determine future content creative direction. 
• Familiarity with AI platforms such as Chat GTP. 
• Availability to work off hours for urgent client needs.  

Pay Rate & Hours:  

• Position is in office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 9am-4pm, with additional hours to be completed remotely based on weekly workload.   
• Pay $22 per hour, working 21-30 hours per week 

Work Authorization/Security Clearance:  

Final candidate selection will be contingent on the successful completion of a pre-employment background check and subsequent background investigation. Selectee will be required to serve a probationary period and participate in Direct Deposit for payment. Candidates must be eligible for employment in the U.S.
