HUMAN RESOURCES & SOCIAL MEDIA INTERN

Productions Plus is seeking an intern for a dual role supporting both Human Resources and Social Media departments.  This role can be within our Bingham Farms, MI or Plano, TX offices, or a remote opportunity for the right candidate.   

Summary:  

Our intern will manage and create content for two philanthropic Facebook and Instagram accounts, using tools like Canva, Microsoft Office, and Meta Business Suite. Ideal candidates will have a background in social media or digital marketing and core competencies in organizational and creative skills. We are looking for someone who is process-oriented, team-centric, and highly motivated, with a passion for social media’s role in fostering community engagement and brand visibility.  

Additionally, the intern will support our Human Resources department with monitoring and completing I9 verifications within the Paycom online platform. 

The candidate must possess the ability and experience to be immediately effective in their role. Ideal candidates can demonstrate an ability for creativity and efficiency under pressure and successful compliance with tight/multiple deadlines. A proactive, can-do, teamwork-driven attitude is essential; a passion for social media and digital marketing is preferred.  

Essential Job Functions:  

  • Social Media 
  • Create 2-3 posts per week for each managed account using Canva, ensuring content is engaging and aligns with our philanthropic mission.  
  • Monitor and engage with our community on social media platforms to foster a positive and interactive online environment.  
  • Assist in the creation of quarterly PowerPoint presentations for accounts, providing insights from the previous quarter and outlining future content schedules.  
  • Human Resources 
  • Proactively communicate and engage with external employees to verify their I9 information.

  • Capacity for teamwork, especially in a hybrid in-office/at-home work environment.  
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally. 

  Preferred Requirements:  

  • Experience with social media management or digital marketing (educational or professional).  
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word/Excel/PPT) and social media management tools such as Canva and Meta Business Suite.  
  • Familiarity with AI platforms such as Chat GTP. 
  • Availability to work off hours for urgent client needs.  

Pay Rate & Hours:  

  • $22 per hour, working 20-30 hours per week based on availability and weekly workload. 
  • Management and client group operate in Eastern Time zone so work hours must be accomplished aligned with this time zone. 

Work Authorization/Security Clearance:  

Final candidate selection will be contingent on the successful completion of a pre-employment background check and subsequent background investigation. Selectee will be required to serve a probationary period and participate in Direct Deposit for payment. Candidates must be eligible for employment in the U.S.
