Account manager – PLANO, TX (HYBRID)
Position Summary:
Productions Plus is looking for an experienced and relationship-driven Automotive Account Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands the automotive industry, and enjoys building strong partnerships with clients, talent, and internal teams.
As an Automotive Account Manager, you will play a key role in managing client programs, supporting automotive events and auto shows, and ensuring flawless execution from planning through activation. This position typically oversees 1–2 key client accounts and manages program budgets of approximately $1M.

What You’ll Do:
- Represent and uphold Productions Plus’ core values: Passionate, Professional, Leading, Unique, and Stellar
- Partner with automotive brands to provide turn-key project management for events, auto shows, and staffing programs
- Build and maintain strong relationships with client teams, business partners, and internal departments
- Develop and sustain long-term talent relationships by monitoring performance, skillset, and year-over-year growth
- Prepare and present account proposals for current programs while identifying opportunities for continued account growth
- Collaborate with Account Coordinators, when applicable, to manage auditions, talent placement, training, wardrobe selection, and team logistics
- Oversee event and auto show execution to ensure staffing plans, logistics, and deliverables are in place before activation
- Book travel arrangements for talent and support event-related coordination
- Manage program scope and ensure each event or show stays aligned with the approved budget
- Work closely with internal teams to support execution excellence and overall budget management
- Oversee automotive marketing campaigns and events to ensure client expectations are met or exceeded
- Partner with Senior Account Managers or Account Directors to keep deliverables on track
- Travel as needed to support onsite execution, team performance, and activation success
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in account management, event staffing, automotive marketing, experiential marketing, or a related field
- Strong understanding of the automotive industry and client service expectations
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities at once
- Confidence working with clients, talent, vendors, and internal teams
- Strong attention to detail and budget awareness
- Ability to travel as needed for shows, events, and activations
- A proactive, professional, and solutions-oriented approach
