Account manager – DETROIT OFFICE (HYBRID)

Position Summary:
We are seeking a driven and client-focused Account Manager to join our Engagement Marketing division. In this role, you will manage all aspects of event and talent management for Client Brand’s national live marketing events, tours, and other initiatives. You will act as the day-to-day client and talent liaison, working closely with a team of dedicated staff.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in account management and live events, requiring minimal training to be effective immediately. Familiarity with live event and trade show activation is preferred. We are looking for someone who can demonstrate diplomacy and efficiency under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain a proactive, teamwork-driven attitude. A passion for the event industry is a plus.

Essential Functions:

  • Understand client direction and strategy.
  • Oversee all aspects of talent management for events.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitive landscape.
  • Participate in client and partner meetings and calls, managing information flow to relevant teams.
  • Contribute new ideas based on automotive or relevant event experience.
  • Partner with clients to understand marketing goals and develop effective solutions.
  • Serve as a staffing expert, collaborating with clients to improve event impact.
  • Provide guidance to talent for growth and success.
  • Create break schedules for on-site staff during activations.
  • Ensure adequate staffing and successful activation, even with last-minute changes.
  • Meet all deadlines.
  • Travel to high-profile events to provide hands-on support and continuity.
  • Achieve an overall event fulfillment rate of 98%.

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Willingness to travel.

Work Authorization:

  • Final candidate selection is contingent on the successful completion of a pre-employment background check and subsequent background investigation.
  • Selectees will be required to serve a 90-day probationary period and participate in Direct Deposit for payment.
